The crank can stay assembled on the frame.
On one side there is a guide for hexagon wrench (diameter 7mm), on the other side there is a drive for the different bits, depending on the crank bolt standard you want tork with.
Note: This tool is delivered with bit "D" for all Shimano chain rings, which has 2 notches of 1.5 mm thickness.
